Ladies, Make us Listen
Listen to our Queen in life!!!
Ladies, we know we're a pain in the arse, and we know we don't always listen.
And when you tell us to put sunscreen on, wear a hat, get out of the sun or go and get that weird looking spot checked...
There's a pretty good chance we'll say:
“Yeah, yeah. I'll do it.”
And then completely forget about it.
That's where you come in.
If you love your bloke, keep pushing him. Tell him to put the bloody sunscreen on.
Tell him to wear the hat, and tell him to find some shade.
And if there's a spot on his skin that's new, changing, bleeding, itchy or just doesn't look right - tell him to get it checked by a doctor.
If he says:
“It's nothing.”
Give him a shove.
If he says:
“I'll get around to it.”
Give him another shove.
Remind the stubborn bastard that being too busy for a skin check doesn't make much sense if he wants to be around for the people he loves.
Because this isn't about nagging.
It's about wanting your bloke around.
Around for the kids.
Around for birthdays.
Around for family holidays.
Around for weekends, BBQs, fishing trips and all the ordinary moments that make life bloody good.
And blokes — if your wife or girlfriend keeps telling you to get something checked...
LISTEN TO HER.
She isn't trying to give you a hard time.
She's looking out for you.
Sometimes the person who loves you most is the person who has to give you the biggest kick up the arse.
So ladies...
Keep pushing.
And fellas...
For once, listen to her.
Put the sunscreen on.
Wear the hat.
Reduce your UV exposure.
And when something on your skin doesn't look right, get it checked.
Because we'd rather have her nagging us for the next 40 years...
than have her wishing she'd pushed harder.
